Hi, I’m Hugo Casahonda, but you might know me online as @mff.coach.hugo—the guy who believes fitness isn’t a lifestyle…it’s a tool.

I help busy dads between 30 and 55 reclaim their health, lose the first 20 pounds (without starvation or hours in the gym), and build a stronger, more capable version of themselves—inside and out.

From Rock Bottom to Rebuilt

I was in school, weighed over 270 pounds, and thought I’d lost my favorite pen. After searching everywhere, I finally found it—tucked inside one of my belly rolls.

Yeah, that stung.

It wasn’t just about the pen—it was about who I had become. I was exhausted, frustrated, and stuck in the trap most guys fall into: running endlessly, eating like a bird, and getting nowhere.

The truth? I had no real strategy… just guilt, shame, and confusing nutrition advice that never seemed to work.

But I didn’t quit. I studied. I learned. I failed forward.

And eventually—I transformed.




What Makes My Coaching Different

Over the years, I’ve dropped over 100 pounds of fat, added 50 pounds of lean muscle, and built a lifestyle that now supports me in:

  • Deadlifting 455 lbs

  • Running marathons and ultramarathons

  • Earning my purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

  • Coaching dozens of clients—including women who eat more and lose weight, and men who break through to single-digit body fat

I hold certifications in Nutrition (AFPA) and am a Level 1 Nutrition Coach + Hormone Specialist with NCI. But more than that—I know what it feels like when you think you’re doing everything right and still failing.
